What we discuss will be held in confidence and not shared with others. However, our discussions are not privileged for legal purposes. The privilege of confidentiality that exists for the clergy, therapists and attorneys is not granted to coaching professionals. That said, life coaching is a confidential process, and your personal information will always be protected.

The answer is yes and no. I do not offer traditional payment plans. However, split payments are offered to clients for an additional service and processing fee. Most clients opt to pay in full on the first day of their session.

Unfortunately, I do not accept insurance. I am private pay. Most health insurance companies do not cover relationship counseling/coaching. In most cases, you have to be diagnosed with a defined set of mental disorders for insurance companies to cover it.

There is a minimum of three sessions. However, on average, most clients average approximately four sessions for optimum results. By comparison, counseling typically ranges from 8 to 22 sessions.

There is a $50 no-show fee or cancellation fee for sessions that are not cancelled within 24 hours. Those who are a “no-show” OR are more than 10 minutes late and do not call, will forfeit one of their sessions (unless there is proof of an emergency).

Relationship coaching is not therapy or counseling. Relationship coaching takes the best of all of those approaches to provide a new type of assistance. Specifically, relationship coaching involves addressing current issues, creating a plan and then moving forward with the client’s present and/or future goals. Therapy strictly involves counseling on past issues. Note: Relationship coaching is NOT a substitute for any mental health service. Only a qualified doctor or psychotherapist is legally allowed to diagnose a patient. Therefore, relationship coaching is for individuals who are emotionally and psychologically healthy and who want to make changes and move forward in their lives.

A Relationship Coach offers an unbiased and objective perspective, and can help you realize your patterns and habits in your relationship. A relationship coach may address issues such as communication problems, conflicts, trust, infidelity, divorce, blended families, etc. Although couples may have similar issues, they all want the same thing–a successful outcome. Furthermore, relationship coaching can take you above and beyond your own personal limitations. This is why every couple has a tailor-made plan for them to ensure their needs are being met. I will give you the tools; you just have to use them.

Each couple will have a tailor-made plan to meet their needs. In the beginning, we will discuss what areas are most important to you and/or your partner. Then, I will create a plan to help you achieve your goals and provide you with assignments to direct your progress. I will identify your obstacles, explore alternate perspectives and celebrate your successes. With the conclusion of each session, we will revisit your goals and take the next steps to achieve these results. We will evaluate your progress in every session and continue to work on your relationship goals until you are ready to move forward.
